The exlinkage in the highlands of Cochabamba (1870-1905)

The present work is an attempt to identify what were the main effects and situations that occurred in the highlands of Tapacarí, as a result of the enactment of the Exvinculation Law of September 1874. It is considered that the present analysis is partial, fundamentally because we only had access to books of Revisits and books of Exvinculation, and not to books of Land Sales and those of the Census of properties, which would have provided the research with data that reflect more fully the subject studied. However, it is considered that it is possible, through inferences, to configure the situation that occurred particularly in the Tapacarí Canton.
