Abstract

This research work provides an overview of the socioeconomic context influencing education in Sacaba (First Municipal Section, Chapare Province, Cochabamba Department). It analyzes the educational characteristics of the youth and adult population, as well as the new educational system resulting from the Educational Reform Program. The study also presents statistics and indicators related to formal education, including the historical evolution of school enrollment, the characteristics of educational offerings, educational units and facilities, and teacher information. Rousseau’s idea that "people are shaped by what institutions do for them" is referenced as a guiding thought.
