Resumen

En este trabajo se estudia desde un punto de vista integral al emprendedor social y el fracaso en su emprendimiento. A través de la literatura se identifican de manera teórica ocho causas por el que un emprendimiento social puede fracasar y posteriormente estas causas se consensan con expertos en el área. Se comprobó el modelo del fracaso en el emprendimiento social, haciendo un levantamiento de la información a nivel nacional y utilizando técnicas de análisis factorial exploratorio y confirmatorio, para el cálculo de la confiabilidad y la validez del instrumento. Finalmente se presenta un instrumento del fracaso del emprendimiento social en México (CAFES- M) como resultado empírico y validado a través de métodos estadísticos.
