This issue of Revista Perspectivas includes research on economic and business topics such as academic research, alcohol consumption, brand loyalty, social entrepreneurship, and strategic management. The first article analyzes the importance of research in the Latin American academic context, proposing a structure to foster economic development through the study of economic transformation processes. The second study examines the relationship between socioeconomic characteristics and alcohol expenditure in the Bolivian highlands, highlighting factors such as indigenous status and gender. The third article explores the factors influencing brand loyalty in mobile phone companies, identifying brand trust and peer support as key variables. The fourth work presents a theoretical model to identify the causes of failure in social enterprises in Mexico, validating a statistical instrument called CAFES-M. Finally, the last article reviews the evolution of strategic management theory, addressing essential concepts such as core competencies, market analysis, and action-based strategies.
