Abstract

The following document presents an empirical study about the relationship between leadership traits and transformational leadership, considering selected human resource management practices as a mediator; including employee participation, supervision, structure, and training, in the banking sector in Cochabamba (traditional banking). The purpose of this study is to stablish the relationship between all these variables, for which purpose a survey was conducted on 167 employees. The relationship was established between all the variables, through various statistical analyzes, which where the basis for determining the mediating effect of selected human resources management practices in the relationship between leadership traits and transformational leadership.
