Abstract

The Balanced Scorecard (BSC) is a business management tool that helps align the company and its employees strategically to achieve its vision.
To this end, a model is proposed for the development of the Balanced Scorecard, which includes a mission, vision, strategic map, strategic objectives within its four perspectives, and operational objectives and action plans in the operational perspectives.
The cause-effect relationships established between objectives are maintained, along with indicators to evaluate their achievement.
The Balanced Scorecard is a management model that allows for the direction of the implementation of a Strategic Plan or Objectives and translates them into action. It is an information model that enables the organization to stay informed—day by day and in real time—about the progress toward achieving predefined goals.
