Abstract

This edition of Revista Perspectivas includes articles addressing taxation, local development, marketing, and business. It examines environmental pollution in Santa Cruz de la Sierra and proposes a municipal tax to help reduce it. The role of local actors in economic development experiences in Peru, Chile, and Bolivia is also explored. Another article focuses on a beekeepers' organization in Cochabamba, analyzing marketing strategies to enhance competitiveness. The modernization of Bolivia's tax administration is reviewed, pointing out distortions in the regional allocation of tax revenues. Lastly, an initiative is proposed to improve adult labor skills in information technology through a structured project that includes technical, organizational, and financial studies.
