Abstract

The diversity of topics covered in this issue of Perspectivas magazine is key to economic and business sciences. The competitiveness of private universities in Bolivia is analyzed, focusing on how students' perception of value influences their success. In Ecuador, a study examines the impact of finance on businesses, highlighting the importance of social and technological factors. Additionally, the relationship between economic freedom, growth, and inequality in 25 countries is explored. The factors driving quinoa exports in Bolivia—such as land expansion and rising international prices—are also identified. Another study in Cusco reveals that tax compliance improves the liquidity of construction companies. Finally, the economic crisis in Bolivia is analyzed, emphasizing the shortage of international reserves and the need for austerity policies and a stronger export sector.
