Abstract

A close reading of the Draft Constitution reveals a lack of understanding of basic concepts from Political Science, Sociology, and Law. Furthermore, it overlooks essential aspects of national identity, such as the Republic of Bolivia and its foundational pillar: the Bolivian nation. These concepts are absent from the Draft approved in Oruro, raising concerns about the conceptual strength and historical grounding of the document. In this short essay, the author will focus on the category of the Bolivian nation, leaving the discussion on the Republic for a later occasion.
