Abstract

This edition of Revista Perspectivas includes articles on marketing, economics, project planning, and taxation. It analyzes both market and firm-level housing demand in the city of Tarija using a mixed research approach and advanced statistical methods. Child labor in Bolivia and Cochabamba is also examined, aiming to develop a descriptive typology. Another article explores the application of mathematical programming in project location, using various algorithms. Additionally, the relationship between market orientation and innovation in Bolivia’s pharmaceutical industry is studied. Lastly, different theoretical approaches to the labor market are analyzed, emphasizing the role of institutions, human resource management, and business decisions in shaping wages and employment.
