Ethical Guidelines and Best Practices
Perspectivas is firmly committed to academic excellence in every issue, which is why it upholds ethical principles in all the works it chooses to publish. In this regard, confidentiality and anonymity are guaranteed throughout all stages of the peer review process.
The journal especially values contributions that promote collaboration between established researchers and early-career academics, thus fostering intergenerational dialogue in scientific production.
Authors must pay special attention to the protection of the identity of their primary sources, as well as to obtaining the necessary permissions for publication. They also assume full responsibility for the content of their article, including its originality, accuracy, proper use of sources, and correct attribution of authorship or co-authorship.
The journal also promotes the use of inclusive and respectful language, free from biases related to age, gender, disability, social background, sexual orientation, religion, or other personal characteristics. Should any discriminatory or exclusionary expressions or approaches be identified, the editorial board reserves the right to request the necessary modifications or to reject the manuscript.
Finally, authors must assume legal responsibility for all statements made in their work.
